Almira is a PreK-8 academy on Cleveland's west side focused on project-based learning and social-emotional growth. It has a full-day PreK classroom, gym and media center.

Almira offers the CARE program, a theatre-based curriculum for K-12 that blends social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practice and literacy. Students use drama, short texts, video and apps to explore emotions together and build empathy for themselves and others. The program lines up with state learning standards and is supported by arts funding from the Ohio Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
